Introduction and Scope
Pitbet operates an online betting and gaming platform comprising the Website and related Services. By registering an Account or placing a Bet, you enter into a binding agreement with Pitbet under these Terms and Conditions, the Privacy Policy, and any Rules and Regulations incorporated by reference. Where there is a conflict between terms in a translated version and the English text, the English text shall prevail. These Terms apply to all use of Pitbet’s Services, Website and any transactions in respect of Bets placed.
Changes to the Terms
Pitbet may amend these Terms from time to time for commercial, regulatory or customer service reasons. The most current Terms will be available at the Website. Where changes are substantial, Pitbet will provide reasonable notice prior to their effective date. For minor or insubstantial changes, notice may be omitted. Continued use of the Services after changes become effective shall constitute acceptance of the revised Terms. If a change is not acceptable, you may cease using the Services and, if applicable, close your Account.
Definitions
- Account — the user profile created to access Pitbet’s Services.
- Bet — any wager placed on the Website through the Services.
- Prohibited Jurisdiction — jurisdictions from which access to or participation in online betting or gaming is prohibited by applicable law.
- Relevant Age — the minimum age required under applicable law to participate in gambling or gaming activities.
- Know Your Customer (KYC) — identity verification and related due diligence procedures required by law or regulation.
- Privacy Policy — Pitbet’s policy describing the processing of personal data provided by you in connection with the use of the Services.
Opening and Maintaining Your Account
To access Pitbet’s Betting Services, you must register and open an Account. You agree to provide truthful, complete and up-to-date Personal Information and to promptly update it when changes occur. You authorize Pitbet to verify Personal Information as necessary to establish and maintain your Account. Only Registered Customers may place Bets up to the balance available in their Account. Pitbet reserves the right to accept or reject registration at its sole discretion.
Eligibility, Prohibited Conduct and Jurisdiction
Participation in Pitbet’s Services is subject to eligibility under applicable law. You acknowledge and agree that you must not access or use the Services if you reside in or are located in a Prohibited Jurisdiction. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, Pitbet reserves the right to restrict access or suspend/terminate a User’s Account where it reasonably believes the User is in breach of applicable gambling laws or is attempting to access the Services from a prohibited jurisdiction. You represent that you are of the Relevant Age, have not been excluded from gambling, and are legally capable of forming binding contracts. Pitbet may require evidence of age and identity and may suspend or close an Account if it cannot verify your age or identity.
Verification of Identity and Anti-Money Laundering
You warrant that the information provided at registration is accurate and that you are the legitimate owner of the funds deposited into your Account. Pitbet may perform identity and anti-money laundering checks from time to time and may request additional documentation (including notarized IDs, proof of address, or bank details). Until satisfactory verification is completed, Pitbet may restrict withdrawals or access to all or parts of the Services. If verification cannot be completed, or if false or misleading information is provided, Pitbet may suspend or close your Account and forfeit or return funds in accordance with applicable law and internal policies. If you are under the Relevant Age, Pitbet may suspend or close your Account and reclaim any funds as permitted by law.
Account Security and Access
You will be issued with a username and password for Account access. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Account Access Information and for all activity conducted through your Account. If you become aware of any unauthorized use or security compromise, you must notify Pitbet immediately. Pitbet may issue new credentials if required to protect your funds or the integrity of the Services.
Financial Transactions and Account Balances
You acknowledge that you are responsible for managing your Account balance and reviewing transaction history. In the event of a discrepancy in your balance, you must notify Pitbet promptly with supporting records. If no timely notification is made, you may forfeit any claims for discrepancies for a specified period as allowed by Pitbet’s internal policies. Pitbet may implement security checks or suspend transactions during verification, and reserves the right to refuse or reverse transactions where fraud or AML concerns arise.
Promotions, Publicity and Use of Winnings
From time to time Pitbet may offer promotions. By participating and accepting winnings, you acknowledge that Pitbet may publish or disclose your username, country of residence and/or real name in connection with the promotion, without compensation or further consent, on Pitbet’s platform or other media reasonably related to the promotion. You hereby consent to such promotional use as a condition of accepting the prize, to the extent permitted by law.
Disputes, Complaints and Resolution
Any complaint or dispute must be submitted to Pitbet in writing within five (5) days of the event giving rise to the complaint. If submitted later, Pitbet may not address the matter, except in exceptional circumstances. Pitbet will endeavor to resolve disputes in accordance with this Agreement and applicable law; however, final determinations may be made based on the information available from Pitbet’s servers and records.
Termination, Closure and Effects
Pitbet may terminate or suspend your access to the Services at any time for reasons including, but not limited to, breach of these Terms, fraud, or illicit activity. Upon account termination or closure, pending transactions shall be concluded in accordance with internal policies. Any remaining balance may be forfeited or returned in accordance with applicable law and payment method constraints; the ability to withdraw remaining funds may be limited or withdrawn entirely at the sole discretion of Pitbet.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws applicable to Pitbet’s operations in Curacao. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms or the use of the Services shall be brought before the competent courts of Curacao, subject to any binding alternative dispute resolution where applicable.
Privacy and Data Protection
Pitbet processes personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy. By using the Services, you acknowledge and agree that Pitbet may collect, store and process your personal information for purposes including identity verification, anti-money laundering, security, and service improvement, in compliance with applicable data protection laws.
